VW Transporter T25 1983 (A Reg) pop-top Campervan plus awning and ancillarys in Midsomer Norton, Somerset for sale

Wanted: one careful loving owner!! It is with regret that I am selling my T25 VW pop top camper which I have owned for 4 years. I am selling her as we are buying a new house and will no longer have any storage space and require some extra funds. Just back from Glasto and Newquay in the last month, she comfortably sleeps four and is taxed until October 2013 and MOT'd until May 2014. I have stripped and rebuilt the van from scratch so the finish is not professional but it is "homely" and made with love ;) She has recently had her exterior hand painted to a good finish and all rust patches were treated and welded in mid May. Most of the trim is in place and in good working order, however the bumper end is missing on one side. She also has a fully fitted interior in good working order, with counters etc designed and built by myself using heavy duty ply and hard wearing black and red carpet throughout. Condition is used, with a few chips and scrapes and the cabinet fronts have warped so they do sit exactly flush (see photos) but they all close well and it wouldn't be too hard to put new fronts on if you wanted to. The van is sold with a fitted sink (however this is not plumbed in - i use a washing bowl), two ring'd hobs and a grill along with a 5kg gas bottle. A leisure battery and charging system which runs independently of the engine, strip and LED lights, a CD player, speakers and an amp along with 12v charging systems and a 240v Power inverter. Also included in the purchase price is seat covers, Table, pole and mounted base, wheels trims, a large awning (worth £275) in good condition (one pole has snapped and been repaired and there is a small rip in one side) and thermo mats for the windows. She is equip with a 12v/gas fridge all plumbed in and currently running on gas and has loads of storage space (see photos). In addition she has a rock and roll bed with cool cushion covers which pulls out to make comfortable sleeping for two. The rear seats are fitted with two seat belts. She has an upstairs which comfortably houses another two people for sleeping. You really can buy her and go camping the same day! New engine parts since owned: Starter motor, plugs, leads, filters, distributor cap, front right break, fuel pump, break servo lead, caliper, carb stripped down and rebuilt. PLEASE NOTE: There is a a problem with the engine. She looses power when travelling up hill, this is suspected to be due to Cam issues as left bank appears to work intermittently and if you are not skilled will require a mechanic to look at and rectify. I would be happy to discuss what i have done to recity the problem already, before you place a bid if you wish. Collection only, would recommend if your journey home is a long one to tow van at present due to reduced engine performance.
